Primary Source Summit
A gathering of social studies educators from 17 states, funded by the Library of Congress
July 23-25, 2019. Educators at the Minnesota History Center in St. Paul from 17 state councils
The Minnesota Council for the Social Studies received a grant from the Midwest Teaching with Primary Sources regional office, a Library of Congress affiliate, to convene a three-day summit of educators from all 17 states within the Midwest region. The goals of the Primary Source Summit were:
