Join the Office of Minnesota Secretary of State and MCSS to explore the opportunities and discuss the challenges of nonpartisan civics education in a polarized environment. How do teachers, administrators, and community members work together to introduce concepts of government and community, the individual and their voice, We the People, and how they all come together in a representative democracy. The session will highlight opportunities for 16-17 year olds, but the discussion will include topics and materials that apply to all students K-12.
