Great Lakes Conferences

Each year, a Great Lakes regional social studies conference is hosted by one of the following states: Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio and Michigan.

The Great Lakes conference is an opportunity for social studies educators from neighboring states to network and learn with fellow educators outside of their own state. The Great Lakes conferences are generally held in conjunction with the hosting state's regularly scheduled state conference.
